2022 - Year of the Tiger-Llama

First llama out the gates!! 🦙🚀

This year has already delivered a bigger walloping in the first month than I would have probably liked for the entire year! To say January has been a rollercoaster would be an understatement… The miracles and triumphs, the tragedies and traumas (much of which will be discussed I’m sure). But I know this year’s my year, I feel it in my bones, and despite regular setbacks, I see it taking shape in my reality daily.

I’ve been on a real tiger kick for months now, and if you buy into spirit animals, the connection to the themes currently playing out in my life could not be any clearer. This llama riding a tiger was the first llama I was inspired to draw after a faaaar too long hiatus from my beloved round bellied alter ego. I drew it over so many times I could probably fill a museum, and I’m SO stoked to finally be sharing it! Now imagine how shooketh I was about 2022 being Year of the Tiger in the Chinese Zodiac? Specifically, Year of the ✨WATER✨ Tiger!? Y’kidding me?? Bonus points for being born in a Horse year… Apparently us gallopers are in for an especially positive year, and again, all in line with the direction I’m aiming at! This year could knock me down every dang month and I wouldn’t stop movin’. I have learned without a shadow of a doubt now that every time one of these less-than-pleasant cycles happens, it is inevitably followed by greater fulfilment than I could have imagined, and an evolution towards the next level of my most aligned being. I’m riding this tiger into 2022 and I’ve NEVER been so excited to journey through a year before. Who will I be on the other side? Where will I go? Who will I meet? What will we achieve? All I can say right now is… ROAR.
